Sign in with a magic link
There is no password to remember by default. You sign in with a link sent straight to your work email.
- 1Open ParkShare and enter your work email address.
- 2Check your inbox for an email from noreply@parkshare.work containing your sign-in link.
- 3Click the link. You will be signed in and land straight on your My Parking page.
If your organisation scans email links
Some email security tools such as Proofpoint pre-fetch links when the email arrives. If clicking the link says it has already been used, try clicking it again shortly after — the token stays valid for re-use for about two minutes after the first use.
If the email does not arrive
- Check your junk or spam folder.
- Make sure you entered your work email address correctly, with no typos.
- Wait a minute or two — some email providers are slow to deliver.
- Still nothing? Ask your administrator to invite you to the organisation. The invite link signs you in and drops you straight in.
Set a password instead
If you would rather sign in with a password, you can set one at any time.
- 1Go to the Settings page.
- 2Find the Password card and set a password (minimum 8 characters).
- 3From then on you can sign in with your email and password instead of magic links.
Two-factor authentication
For extra security you can enrol in two-factor authentication using an authenticator app on your mobile. Your organisation may also require it.
- 1Go to the Settings page and find the Two-factor card.
- 2Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (for example Google Authenticator or Authy).
- 3Enter the code from the app to confirm enrolment.
Which code to enter at sign-in
Codes come from the ParkShare entry in your authenticator app — each entry in the app holds a different secret, so a code from any other entry (work, personal or another site) will always be rejected. If you have several entries, look for the one named ParkShare or created for your parkshare.work email address.
You can disable two-factor from the same card later if your circumstances change.
If your organisation requires MFA
If your organisation has made two-factor authentication mandatory, you will be prompted to enrol until you do. Enrol once and you will not be asked again.
Lost your authenticator?
If you get a new phone, delete the ParkShare entry, or your codes are suddenly all rejected, your administrator can reset two-factor for you — you cannot reset it yourself without signing in.
- 1Contact your organisation's ParkShare admin (or submit a support request).
- 2They reset two-factor from Admin → Members using the reset action on your row.
- 3Sign in again as normal. If two-factor is optional in your organisation you are signed straight in; if it is required, you will be asked to scan a new QR code and set up a fresh authenticator entry before continuing.
Re-enrol after a reset
After a reset, add a new ParkShare entry in your authenticator app from Settings → Two-factor. Do not reuse the old entry — its codes will no longer match.
