What the limits mean in practice
- Parking spaces: the total bays you can register under Admin → Spaces. The number of members is not limited — only the spaces.
- Request approvals: on Free, member park requests affect the allocation immediately. On Standard and Pro you can require an admin decision first.
- Auto-run: on Free you run the weekly allocation by hand from Admin → Allocations. Standard and Pro run it automatically on your chosen weekday.
- Access tokens: the fob, key and card register is a Standard and Pro feature.
- SMS per month: a pooled monthly quota for the organisation. When it runs out, affected members still get email so nobody misses an allocation.
- Requests into fully-allocated days: on Free, members cannot request a bay for a day where every space is already allocated. Standard and Pro allow it, subject to approval if you have that turned on.
Hitting a cap
Space cap: when you try to add one more space than your plan allows, the UI stops you with an upgrade message. Nothing is lost — your existing spaces stay exactly as they are.
SMS quota: every member's weekly summary email is always sent regardless of the SMS allowance; SMS is an extra channel for members who have opted in. When the monthly allowance is exhausted, those extra texts pause until next month and the allocation summary shows a red note that the SMS monthly limit was reached. Email delivery is never affected — see sms/quota-and-troubleshooting.
Upgrading
Upgrades are arranged directly with ParkShare — use the contact page and tell them which plan you want. Because access-token records are saved, moving from Free up to a paid plan (or back down and up again) does not lose your history.
